Milk Paint is a little untraditional in the sense that, it comes in powder and you need to add water to “make” the paint! Available in 28 feel-good shades.
New to Milk Paint? Don’t worry! Milk Paint is easy as 1, 2, 3 - Mix It, Paint It, Finish it!
Mix It
Combine 1 part water to 1 part powder and stir for 1 minute using a whisk. Watch as the Milk Paint powder easily dissolves into the water.
Paint It
Using any brush, apply milk paint to your surface. Each coat dries within 15-30 minutes and can be re-coated immediately once dried.
Finish It
Apply a top coat to seal your milk paint and bring out the true depth of colour. This will also protect your paint for a finish that lasts generations. Hemp Oil and furniture wax are great, easy to use options.
TIP
For applying milk paint to a surface that is not a dull finish or bare wood - Bonding Agent (also known as Fusion Ultra Grip) will ensure even adhesion. Mix 1 part Bonding Agent to 1 part Paint before applying.
*Do not add Bonding Agent if you wish for a cracked or chippy look.
